FFSC is committed to the continued success and care of our graduates. To ensure they have the best chance of success, please abide by the following rules and regulations regarding the sales.
|
General1) Members post which horses they're interested in, and sellers choose who the horse will go to, or if they decide to keep them instead.
2) Buybacks go to consignors. Horses consigned by the registry will go back to the registry if the buyer goes inactive. Buyers1) Horses sold as active racers or racing prospects must be actively raced or they are eligible for reclaim.
2) Pages should be up within three days of sale, with the new link posted in the sale thread. 3) Please only bid on horses if you have room for them! There are plenty of other ways for a seller to sell a horse - including waiting for the next sale - so please don't feel like you need to 'clean up' so everything gets sold when you don't have space! 4) Buyers must abide by seller conditions if any are connected to the horse (this includes reserves, first buyback rights, etc). Sellers1) Horses are unable to be entered in the sales if:
a - they are a created weanling, yearling, or racing age horse that is unraced b - they are a created breeding age horse that is unraced and unproven (no foals yet to race) ------- exception: a mare is in foal to a proven stallion c - they are an unraced, unproven horse with two unraced, unproven created parents 2) Any reserves to a horse other than to the seller should be stated when the horse is entered so they can be noted in the catalog and when the horse is being sold. 3) Mares may be entered in foal in the May/September sales to be born the following year, but the sire must not still be actively racing. 4) Weanlings can only be entered in the September sale. 5) Buyers are allowed to decide to keep a horse at any point. |
